The "Philharmonic String Trio Dresden" was founded in 1996, when Heike Janicke (violin), Andreas Kuhlmann (viola) and Ulf Prelle (violoncello) started to rehearse together.
The aim of these three international awarded soloists and musicians of chamber music is to infuse the famous tradition of the Saxonian school of strings with new ideas and various inspirations.
